    China is a giant thorn in your argument, aka, central economic control equals the greatest economic growth the world has ever seen. And also, Cuba’s economy is a Caribbean cesspool of poverty because of the US’s crushing embargo.
    Not that I’d ever argue against the US’s obvious free-market successes.
