Best Political Cartoon Of All Time?

Do not think about, write about or deal with  human behavior without determining the effects of incentives.

Politics: A strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles. The conduct of public affairs for private advantage. Ambrose Bierce.

More crudely, politics is a bunch of gangs struggling for territory This unseemly conflict is dressed up in the thin fabric of principle so that it seems noble. However noble it seems, the taxpayer foots the bill and the bill is getting steeper all the while.

Thanks to Daniel Mitchell for  the cartoon reference.
