Warm Snow—It’s Global Warming

Do not think about, write about or deal with  human behavior without determining the effects of incentives.

Finally, someone in the New York Times has linked the Philippines storm to “Climate Change”. Since there is no evidence of any kind that this is happening, we called this on the farm, oh, I don’t know, a large pile of horseshit.

We had the first significant snowfall in my part of the country—deep enough for shoveling, not enough for snowblowing. But that’s not the point. The snow, in accord with post-modern theory about capitalism was Gorelike. Yes, it was warm. On a similar note, reality be damned vein, where are the millions of green jobs? Remember when governments were falling over themselves to give subsidies so that their country would not be left behind? Where are those jobs?

Everyone must, by law, now give a huge sigh of relief that the Elite, never wrong, always hysterical, have led us down the Path of Righteousness, the path that leads to huge deficits and a declining Standard of Living.

H.L. Mencken–“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”
